My Secrets to Losing 95 Pounds
I'm down 95 pounds and getting closer to my goal, with 44 pounds to go. I figure it took me seven years to gain seventy pounds of this weight. That's less than a pound a month. Will I keep it off? I have a plan. This time will be different. I am being more aware, so I do believe I can keep it off. My plan is to continue to log my food here on SparkPeople and to keep my goal of 10,000 steps a day with cardio drumming twice a week. As for my food intake, I will know what my BMI is so I will be eating all those calories. That sounds like a lot of food, but I'm figuring if I stay at or below that number I should be safe. I do have a plan and I know it's all about me. I've been at this for over a year and I have changed a lot. I know where my weaknesses are and I chose to eat or not eat. I still have ice cream and bread and other comfort food just in a much healthier amount. Life is good. I don't feel deprived or hungry. It's got to be right to make it work. I hope by writing this it helps others on this journey as well. We can do it when we decide to do it for ourselves. There is not a magic pill or quick fix out there. It's inside of us. There are toxic foods as well as toxic people that we need to avoid. Be strong. You can do it. I want to do this. It's for me!
