TIP OF THE DAY
Red meat, along with butter and cheese, are all sources of saturated fat and should be limited and replaced with unsaturated fat. Saturated fat is known to raise "bad" (LDL) cholesterol and increase the risk of heart disease. Nuts and seeds and plant-based oils, like soybean and canola, that are found in buttery spreads contain good fats.
