Recipe of the Week
Mango mint lassi
Lassi is an Indian drink that involves blending yogurt with water, fruit, and seasonings. This recipe combines mangoes, Greek yogurt, coconut milk, and fresh mint. Mangoes have anti-inflammatory properties and may help protect your liver. They're also associated with improved diet quality and lower body weight in adults.
The sap and skin of mangoes contain urushiol, the same oil that causes the rash you might get from poison ivy. If you have a poison ivy sensitivity, you may want to have someone else peel the mangoes for this recipe or wear disposable gloves when handling them yourself. Or you could buy mango that has already been peeled and diced.
