Demystifying leaky gut syndrome
Leaky Gut Syndrome (LGS) is a proposed condition that causes increased intestinal permeability — when microscopic gaps open up in the lining of the intestines, allowing substances to pass into the bloodstream. Some functional medicine practitioners believe LGS contributes to autoimmune diseases, chronic fatigue, migraine, mood issues, and more.
Increased intestinal permeability is a real symptom of gastrointestinal issues, including IBS, Crohn's disease, and celiac disease. It's also been been linked to certain factors such as inadequate nutrition, alcohol consumption, stress, infections, lupus, and diabetes.

2-IN-1 LEMON LIME SQUEEZER
2-IN-1 LEMON LIME SQUEEZER
My lemon squeezer broke this week, so I wanted to replace it with something more sturdy, more efficient, and more colorful. I chose this one because it's all metal and can handle big fruit, small fruit, and awkward medium-sized fruit. It's also dishwasher safe and produces copious amounts of citrus juice without mercy. Plus, it's on offer this week, with around one-third off on Amazon (I bought mine at full price, but you don't have to!).
