You're probably missing out on at least one of these essential nutrients
Full transparency: I don't read nutrition labels that closely. Usually, I'll check the amounts of sodium, added sugar, and protein but stop there. It never crosses my mind to look for other vitamins and nutrients.
πŸ”— The link between what you eat and how you feel. While a balanced diet helps you consume the essential minerals you need, certain diets — such as the typical American diet, vegetarian diets, and vegan diets — often run low on (or even exclude) nutrients that you should actually pay more attention to. When you're deficient in certain nutrients, you might experience tiredness, slow brain function, bone loss, eye damage, and other sneaky symptoms.
πŸ‘€ Just so you're aware, here are seven of the most common deficiencies:

πŸ§ͺ Consider getting tested. It's not often that most of us get blood work done and can have our nutrient levels checked by a doctor, which is why I thought this could be a good reminder for you. My doctor only called out a vitamin D deficiency, so I feel confident that I'm getting enough of the other nutrients on this list. Go, me! 😜
πŸ”Ό How to boost your levels. If you notice anything slightly off in the way your body feels, there's a chance it could be related to what you are — or aren't — eating. Simple additions to your diet, such as eating more eggs, fish, leafy greens, and even some dark chocolate, can get you on the right track. And if you're following a particular diet, consider taking supplements under your doctor's guidance.

🧻 A question about fiber. Does it actually work to relieve constipation and help you poop?
