Some spices and herbs have been shown to help stabilize blood sugar. Fenugreek, an Asian herb with a flavor reminiscent of Indian cuisine, has been shown to lower post-meal blood sugar levels. Add some to your eggs in the morning, throw a spoonful into your salad or use it as an ingredient in pasta sauce. Another spice that has been shown to help lower blood sugar is cinnamon.
