What Lessons Have You Re-Learned?
They say that God does't give you any more than you can handle ... well, I think there have been times he had me confused with someone else. They say strife and tribulations build character ... well, I am definitely one heck'of a character. They say that lessons come back into your life if you have not learned them the first time ... well, I have been living the roller coaster of learning how to eat and exercise my way towards my healthy goals for some time now. I have lost and gained a kajillllion pounds. I have tried my best and then given up. I have done everything right and not seen progress on the scale ... and failed to take note of how much better I felt. I have planned and plotted and then not followed through. I have sworn I didn't have enough time to do what is needed ... and spent the time binging in front of the TV. I have weighed my self-worth on the scale while weighing my body. 2016 is a clean slate to take learned lessons into and continue to move forward. I am a smart person, so now is the time to act like it. Change your mind, and the rest will follow. What lessons are you re-learning for 2016? How will this year be different?
