Suspended sentence for food shop owner after Salmonella outbreak

The former owner of a fast food outlet in England linked to a Salmonella outbreak last year has received a suspended six month prison sentence. Foodborne botulism suspected in two children

Two girls, aged four and six, have contracted botulism in the Brazilian state of Paraná. Both cases were hospitalized but have now been discharged following treatment.
