After a Wisconsin pharmacist allegedly let over 500 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine go bad, Dr. Oz wanted to know, what happened to the people who still received those shots? Because Moderna used special technology to make its vaccine, it has to be kept cold and cannot be left at room temperature for more than 12 hours — or it becomes ineffective. The Wisconsin pharmacist allegedly removed the doses from the refrigerator for several hours. Are there any negative health effects if you get a shot that wasn't mean to be kept warm?
