At Risk for COVID-19? Here's Where to Get Your Shot This week, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released new guidelines for vaccinated people. You can gather indoors with fully vaccinated people without wearing a mask, though when in public the CDC still advises wearing a mask, physically distancing, and avoiding crowds. Last month, health officials in California announced that people with disabilities or severe underlying conditions aged 16 years and over will be eligible to receive vaccinations starting on March 15th. Several other states already offer vaccinations to people with underlying health conditions, or are expected to soon, in line with CDC guidelines. But what about the practicalities of getting your shot where you live? This week, Healthline published this state-by-state guide to getting vaccinated. Eligibility and booking procedures vary, sometimes by county, so we've provided links to all the registration and vaccine center resources you may need. Vaccination remains our best shot at beating this pandemic in 2021. We hope our new guide helps you get yours all the sooner. Tim Snaith Newsletter Editor |
